The Austin Community Foundation and the Aimee Melissa Davis Scholarship Fund

In 1977, citizens of Austin established the Austin Community Foundation to receive gifts, bequests, and donations to benefit the people of Travis County. The Austin Community Foundation is a Texas non-profit corporation exempt from federal income taxation. The Austin Community Foundation has agreed to hold and administer all contributions to the Aimee Melissa Davis Memorial Scholarship Fund.

An Advisory Committee that includes a member of Aimee Melissa Davis' family meets annually to select the recipients of the scholarship. An application and guidelines are available to high school graduates from high school counselors within Travis and Williamson Counties each year.
